Chow time ...

That's all.

One day you're in, and the next day you're out

So, I am in the midst of a season of Project Runway (this is Melanie, by the way--Go Mondo!), hence the blog title. Cheesy, I know. The title does, however, apply to the Jonah man in a tangential way, or at least I can make it appear so. Our pictures this week will revolve around the maybe clever, maybe not-so-clever, "In" vs. "Out" theme.

First, Jonah is never reluctant to stay "In" his PJs for a lot of the day, as is a trend for the entire P crew on the weekends. We love us some pajamas, although Jonah always wins the prize for the cutest PJs.
Jonah is also frequently "In" his baby carrier and, now that he can sit up on his own, he can ride on Mommy and Daddy's backs, rather than just up front. This isn't the best picture, but you get the idea.
Now, for our first "Out" moment. Jonah has actually begun enjoying being "Out" of his clothes, which is awesome because semi-naked Jonah is adorable! As you can see, he is all smiles in just a diaper nowadays, which was certainly not the case a couple of months ago.
He also totally enjoys being "In" our bed. Evidently, Nana M tucks Jonah up in she and Grandpa's bed when she is making it in the morning, so we tried the same routine the other day at home. J was really into it.
Another new "In" for Jonah is the joy of hanging out in a laundry basket. He and the cats have this in common, which I am hoping will lead to some baby-kitty bonding.
Even more fun is his new skill of putting his foot "In" his mouth. This is his FAVORITE thing. We have to change his soggy socks several times per day.
Last but not least, Jonah got "Out" in the snow today. It has snowed before since Jonah was born, but today was some really nice, puffy, lovely snow, and this was the first time we've really had a chance to check it out in earnest. I had a snow day and was home from school, so Jonah and I bundled up and spent some time in the great outdoors. I think he was a fan.
And with that, it's time to end yet another Jonah post. Lots of love to you all.
